Salary:£37,000 - £45,000 (Dependant upon experience)

Main purpose of role:

To manage the operational HR provision for Tunstall UK & Ireland, including all aspects of the employee lifecycle, providing a comprehensive HR service to people managers, employees and other internal stakeholders.  Delivering key HR projects as required.

Key responsibilities and results areas:
  • Manage the HR Team, ensuring delivery of a comprehensive transactional HR service, a first line HR advisory service, and a complete recruitment service, to all relevant stakeholders,
  • Ensure an excellent transactional HR service is delivered to internal customers,
  • Supervise the provision of;  recruitment, onboarding, development, reward, recognition, performance management, benefits, retention and exit process,
  • Ensure appropriate escalation of issues to HR Business Partners, from the HR team,
  • Be available as ER support for escalated cases in the absence of the relevant HR Business Partner, or where the available support has been exhausted,
  • Work with the HR Team to ensure regularly review policies to comply with employment law and best practice,
  • Work with the HR team to ensure regular review of all policies and standard documents to ensure correct branding and appropriate wording,
  • Continuous improvement through constant review of HR processes and ways of working practices,
  • Advise on the application of employment policy, employee relations and best practice,
  • Management of supplier relationships, ensuring best value and service, specifically; fleet management, referencing portal and benefits portal provision,
  • Maintain the HR UK budget in the absence of a UK HR Director,
  • Initiate, drive and deliver key HR projects across the UK & Ireland territory,
  • Work effectively with the HR Business Partners to deliver UK wide HR projects, supporting the needs of individual client areas as appropriate,
  • Development and coaching of team members to fulfill their potential
Knowledge, skills and experience competencies:
  •          CIPD Level 7 essential
  •          Experience of managing a team
  •          Some previous involvement with HR Systems/HR Projects
